Rakul Preet Singh: "Naughty Dialogues? No Problem! That's How Today's Youth Talks"
Rakul Preet Singh chats up EXCLUSIVELY IN CAMERA with SpotboyE.com over childhood, ambitions, naughty dialogues in De De Pyaar De, trolls, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Karan Johar and lots more
Rakul Preet Singh is on a high. And why not? Her latest Bollywood release De De Pyaar De has done well and she has not just been noticed but praised as well. Devgn and Tabu are brilliant actors and we bet, Rakul must have made their eyebrows go up by her stunning histrionics. Plus, Rakul got good reviews from critics. I cannot forget that this youngster impressed me with her almost throughout the film. In my review, I wrote: "Well, she blew me away! So much confidence? How come?"
Rakul began her career when she was just 18. In 2009, she made her acting debut in the Kannada film, Gilli, a remake of Selvaraghavan's 7G Rainbow Colony. Critics loved her in the film and then she went back to complete her degree and compete in the 2011 Femina Miss India pageant. Apart from the People's Choice Miss Indiatimes, she won four subtitles at the pageant including Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Talented, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes.
I caught up with this beautiful lady in Luv Ranjan's office soon after De De Pyaar De hit theatres. We chatted quite a bet. We reproduce that chat for you. CLICK BELOW TO SEE IT.
A few days later, Rakul was mired in a trolling controversy for her unzipped pants (PIC ABOVE) that she wore for a photo shoot. Rakul received quite a few uncharitable remarks for the picture in question. When contacted, Rakul had told us, Rakul, "Frankly, I don't have a reaction to this. There are 100 good opinions for every 10 trolls. I should talk about trolls if somebody is talking about me personally or on my character, or talking bad about the work which puts me in bad light with my team, or if it affects my parents. We then asked her about her take on trolls' opinion that such pictures invite sexual crimes, Rakul shot back, "I don't want to comment on this but can't help it if they've polluted minds."
Atta girl! Now, fly!!
